Mary started Lyse’s Nuts after her husband Jeremy encouraged her to share his mother’s delicious recipe. It all began at a party when Mary brought a batch of glazed pecans to a dinner in the Canyon, which turned out to be a hit. This led to frequent requests from friends, thus the company’s namesake. For those who knew Lyse, they understood that what she loved most was entertaining and cooking for family, friends, neighbors, teachers, and folks in her community. The family recipe was handed to Lyse from her mother-in-law, Sylvia, and so the tradition continues with Mary.
Mary found herself entertaining and cooking for others once married. Four years ago, she left the world of television marketing to fully embrace her family life in the Canyon. She proudly embraces the moniker of ‘Mom’ for this generation of women who juggle work, family and self-care.
